Stay don't stay

Reasons why I should stay for another six months in this office:

• I've become more comfortable with the atmosphere. I'm getting more used to the awful, awful silence in this room every single day.
  
• In the meantime, the workload is still bearable. I get to do what I like; write. Plus, I get to know what's happening out there by reading all the articles I have to summarize.
• Nice, nice payment. The management pays full attention to the emplyees.
• Since it's located inside the boss' house, I get to wear whatever clothes I like, as long as it's appropriate. I don't even have to wear any shoes inside.
• Again, since it's located inside a house, lunch is served everyday by the cook. Therefore, I can save lunch money.
• It's only 30 minutes away from my house, and traffic is less frustrating.

Reasons why I should leave this office by the time my contract's done at the end of this month:

• This is not what I planned. In my head, I was going to be a journalist right after I graduated. I want to be out there, covering events, and then report it to the world.
  
• However, being a local journalist pays practically nothing. From what I see, the workers' welfare is also pathetic. Therefore, I have to start looking for a job in a foreign media. And it seems that I won't get started if I still have my current job here.
• Some things in this office just don't click with me. I don't like having to hide where I'm from everytime I attend a seminar or conference.
• I'm still 23. I just graduated, and I started working here exactly one day after my final thesis presentation. I deserve to have some time-off, don't I? Yknow, looking slowly for what I'm gonna do next.
• Maybe I should find a job where I can go to the office by train. It's faster, cheaper, and help reducing pollution from my car. Haha.

Either one, I think I have to tell my boss about my contract. Ugh, what a dilemma. I think the main issue is comfort vs. journalism. I'm already comfortable with almost everything in this office, while I still want to pursue a career in journalism. Better start immediately, right? Especially if I want to be a Senior Producer of some, I don't know, international news agency, by the time I'm 30-ish.

Writing down a pro-con list definitely didn't give much help.
