Rapat genk

I had a great time with the girls yesterday. We had our biweekly Rapat Genk. Notice the word, biweekly. Last time, we had to wait two months before the next gathering, so meeting them last night after just two weeks was definitely comforting.

We didn't do anything significant; we just went to PIM and tried the new place, The Cafe Cartel. The place was good, foods were a bit pricey but the atmosphere was worth it. Sofas, smoking area, not-too-loud music, and a city-lights-themed wallpaper which looked nice. Plus they give away free breads for the customers.

Then the real Rapat Genk began. We started talking non-stop about everything, filling up stories for each other over buttered breads, pizza, a snack platter, and of course glasses of iced coffee. Long after that, Arif came to join, and longer after that, we finally decided to go. I guess none of us wanted to go home, so we just walked around the almost empty mall (as it was over 10 p.m). Embarassing moment of the day was when we acted mbak-mbak-ish by taking pictures in the bridge that connected the two PIMs, with the traffic below as our background. Pretty.

Above all, it was soooo nice and comforting, just as always whenever we're together. Nothing beats those meaningless talks (bergunjing + berkhayal + cerita nggak penting dari kehidupan sehari-hari) and jokes (pistol emas, Run?). We had planned to catch a movie or have a karaoke session, but turned out, coffee was enough. I still want the karaoke session, but I'll save it for another time.

Girls, let's do this more often, okay? No more two-month-absent, please. Mari kita lakukan agenda kita kemaren yang isinya karaoke, belanja, pesta kebun, sama ke Anyer. Let's get high on caffeine again!!
