Where are you?

I have one of the biggest questions in the world: Which is more important, friends or lovers?

I understand that both are important in one's life, really. You need your friends to be the place where you can have all the fun in the world, be your dorkiest self, share your stupidest dreams, cry your eyes out, and everything else in between. While boyfriend, well, it's basically same with friends, only plus all the sex.

But when it comes to managing your times between the two, how hard is it to keep having dates with your boyfriend, while still going out with your friends? Especially if your boyfriend lives in the same town as you do. I mean, that makes it easy to see each other, right? You don't have to wait 'til weekend to go out, you don't have to wait three months before you can see each other again, and you don't even have to dread for Sunday 'cos that is the day your boyfriend has to go away again.

When you can see your boyfriend any day of the week, why can't you see your friends once in a while, on weekend? Let's say, once in four weeks. That's nothing compared to seeing your boyfriend that often. That wouldn't ruin your dating frequency, would it?

So what do you say, can you start learning to divide your time fairly between your boyfriend and your besties? Aren't you familiar with the saying, friends are like flowers; they have to be maintained regularly so they won't die?
