Yesterday all six of us went on a road trip to Bandung. It started off with hours of traffic jam, but of course I didn’t mind, ‘cos we occupied ourselves well in Bangun’s Kijang.
A cup of coffee, a mini-documentary of The Manis (that’s our band, apparently) and thousands of laughter later, we arrived in Al-Mu’minun. It was already late in the afternoon, so we had to hurry to Ingga’s off-campus event, Espose.
The event was different from any other campus nights. Think JGTC in a smaller, more intimate scale, without the hot air of Jakarta and the crowd. Plus we got to sit down while enjoying the performers, and there was a Nescafe stand, selling a small cup of coffee for only Rp.1000.
There were Park Drive, 4 Peniti which we missed, and a few other acts. But I only managed to enjoy Sova, the supposedly main act yet they didn’t give a satisfying performance (and I’m not in the mood to review them now). I spent most of the time talking with the girls, listening to Bangun, Ebonk and Ari’s stupid comments on the stage, and catching up with Ingga and Kacank. I also managed to let some of my bitchiness out of its hibernation era, which felt really good.
We didn’t go straight back to Jakarta afterwards. We went karaoke-ing instead, the first time with Ari. It was only for an hour, but it was also the first time that the girls joined forces with Bangun-Ebonk in karaoke.
Finally the night had to end. I, the girls and Bangun had to go back home to Jakarta. The night certainly beats my 21st birthday party, and here’s the list of why it does:
1. Another QT with RunBunRos
2. Another QT with RunNgunBonk
3. Those two points happens in the same time.
4. A road trip with Genk, finally.
5. We got to meet Ingga.
6. No curfews for all of us this time, so we could come home at around 5 in the morning, which we did.
7. And of course, no good events go without good pictures of us.
Too good to be true? Maybe. But it did really happen, and I’m expecting more road trip like this.

No good events go without good pictures, and this is only one of them.
