Two days ago, I planned on catching a movie in PIM with Bangun but he had no ride. On the other hand, my car was parked at home and has been rarely used ever since I started interning. So we agreed to have him coming over to my house to get the car before going to PIM to meet me. He said jokingly, "ih aku merasa kita udah deket banget deh." I said seriously, "ih aku berasa kaya deh." (karena sebelumnya gue bilang dengan nada sangat belagu, "tuh ambil aja mobil di rumah kalo nggak ada.")
There he went to my house, dropped by his mom. Since she didn't know the way out to the main street, she waited for him to pre-heat the car, quietly, which was unlike her. Afterwards, he took my car to Hilman's 'cause we weren't supposed to meet for another three hours. He told me, Hilman was quite fussy seeing him with my car. That lanky guy said, as reported by Bangun, "Bawa mobil istri, ya."

Is it really a gesture for showing one couple's...intimacy?! I mean, to me it's just another little thing. We wanted to meet, he didn't have a car available in his house, I got my red thing waiting to be driven (masa dalam waktu sebulan cuma isi bensin dua kali saking nganggurnya..). It's a mutual situation, right?
Hilman's just exaggerating.
