Yesterday I was smoking alone in my balcony, and my 9-year-old neighbor was playing outside with his Mom and their dog (when I said balcony, don't picture Princess Jasmine's balcony outside her room). They were talking, then the boy said, "Yess besok gak ada ulangan!"
That second, I suddenly missed my Chrysolit kids so bad. I miss listening to their stupid, unimportant rants about how their exams and extra curriculars pile up so they don't have more time to revise my lessons (hey, I'm not the one who told them to attend five courses a week--Ms. Putri has to be their number one priority), I miss their blabbings about everything--be it related or not to the class, I miss their "Miiiiiiisssss kapan pulaaaaaaaang?" (which made me feel kinda unwanted), their "Miiiiiiiiiiiissss games doooong, belajar muluuu!" right after we play hangman (which somehow still made me feel boring and serious). I miss them!!
What now, I'm a fan of children...? *shudders*
Then today, when I was on a coverage on AI in Kemang (my first coverage was yesterday in Depkes), I saw a few children--about four, five years old--playing and I missed my kids again. Gee. Padahal rasanya kalo lagi ngajar minta digantung dari teralis jendela lantai dua kelas paling ujung satu-satu biar diem. Nyeh.
So, the end of the year is coming. What's it gonna be, hotel rooms + booze, secluded villa (my dream) + booze, kosannya Bangun + booze? The pros of hotel rooms are: It's actually our last resort (wink wink Runi), it's comfy (when the room's not too full with smoke and bodies laying around), and in this case, it's in Kemang--something new for New Year's Eve, as for the last few years it's been Sudirman-Thamrin-Senayan-Pisok. The con, however, is the main issue people, mainly parents, are afraid of during holiday season; the B-O-M-B.
The problem is, kalo gak disitu, dimana lagi? Well actually, as clueless as I am, there's still one thing we can all count on (dan ini ditujukan kepada teman-teman serta pacar saya): Dimanapun, yang penting kebersamaan...Hahahah crap. Gak sih, gak crap.
As time goes by, I know we'll find a place. Taun lalu juga kan keputusan buka kamar di hotel Pisok alias memanfaatkan rumah kosong sebagai tempat "berkumpul dan bersenang-senang" datang di menit-menit terakhir, toh?
