Kids, meet Miss Putri.

So I'm a teacher now. I started teaching at Chrysolit two days ago. I'm teaching three classes this semester, all elementary kids aged 6-10. Yes, me, who used to always want to kick any little kid who can't sit still in one place, who always curse silently everytime there's a kid crying. Me who wails when I see kids wailing to their mothers. Kids aren't my favorite kind of humanbeing, yet I'm stuck with them now, six hours a week. It's pretty good cash, and I need the working experience--the only two reasons I took this job.

I'd been dreading about it all day last Monday, but turned out, the kids were alright. In fact, they're cute. They did sit still throughout the hour, and they actually did what I told them to. And strangely, as annoying as they were (they talked A LOT about their lives--not once did I ask them to), I found the things they did make me smile. Heh. It feels really weird. The kids were nice to me. Some of them had already known me 'cos around three weeks ago I went with them on their study tour, so I've passed that introduction phase, and kids tend not to speak during that phase.

I've signed a six-month contract with the English course, so hopefully, I'll live handling the kids for the next six months.
